15 Ocak 2015 tarihinde Kazakistan Cumhuriyeti İstanbul Başkonsolosu Yerkebulan Sapiyev İstanbul Aydın Üniversitesini ziyaret etti. İAÜ Mütevelli Heyet Başkanı Dr. Mustafa Aydın ile yaptıkları görüşmede yükseköğretim ve bilim alanlarında olası iş birlikleri hakkında görüştüler. İstanbul Aydın Üniversitesinde öğrenim gören Kazakistan uyruklu öğrencilerin eğitimlerinden duydukları memnuniyeti ve istikrarı dile getiren Kazakistan Cumhuriyeti İstanbul Başkonsolosu Yerkebulan Sapiyev bu durumdan büyük memnuniyet duyduklarını vurguladı. Dr. Mustafa Aydın, son yıllarda İAÜ’yü tercih eden Kazakistan uyruklu öğrencilerin sayısının arttığını belirterek İAÜ’de düzenlenecek bir Kazakistan Gününde Kazakistan uyruklu öğrencilerle Kazakistan Cumhuriyeti Büyükelçi ve Başkonsolosunu bir araya getirmek istediklerini dile getirdi. Yapılan görüşmede Mütevelli Heyet Başkanı Dr. Mustafa Aydın İAÜ’nün başlangıçtan günümüze kat ettiği yolu, İAÜ’nün teknolojik gelişimini ve İAÜ’nün uluslararası platformdaki yerini anlattı.

The Istanbul Consul General of The Kazakhstan Republic, Yerkebulan Sapiyev has visited the Istanbul Aydin University on Jan. 15th 2015. The President of IAU Dr. Mustafa Aydin and he have discussed about collaboration possibilities on higher education and scientific fields. The Istanbul Consul General of The Kazakhstan Republic, Yerkebulan Sapiyev has expressed his satisfaction mentioning The Kazakhstan National Students’ satisfaction and the stabilization on their educations in Istanbul Aydın University. Dr. Mustafa Aydin mentioned the increasing number of Kazakhstani Students and promised that IAU would organize a “Kazakhstan Day” at the university and he wants to ingather the Kazakhstan Ambassador and the Consul General on that at the Campus to meet with the Kazakhstani students of IAU. During the meeting, Dr. Mustafa Aydın, gave information about IAU’s development and recognition rise from the past till today, the technological developments of IAU and the university’s recognition at international platform.
