Avrasya Üniversiteler Birliği’nin Türk Üniversitelerine özel düzenlemiş olduğu EURIE Training etkinliği İstanbul Aydın Üniversitesi ev sahipliğinde gerçekleştirildi. Türkiye çapında çeşitli üniversitelerinden toplamda 30’u aşkın kurum “EURIE Training for Turkish Universities” başlıklı eğitim programına katılım sağladı. EURAS ve İAÜ Mütevelli Heyet Başkanı Dr. Mustafa Aydın, EURIE eğitimi sonrası düzenlenen akşam yemeğine katılarak, katılımcılara tek tek teşekkür etti.
Farklı etkileşimli aktiviteler ve uluslararasılaşma hakkında önemli noktalara değinilerek ilerleyen çalıştay, EURAS Genel Koordinatörü Pınar Elbasan, Abdullah Gül Üniversitesi Uluslararasılaşma Komisyon Başkanı Zeynep Tuğçe Çiftçibaşı Güç ve EURODESK Kolaylaştırıcı Takım Üyesi Çağlar Yenilmez’in eğitimleriyle üç oturumda gerçekleşti.
Yükseköğretim sektöründe uluslararasılaşmanın ülkemiz için de büyük bir önem taşıdığını dile getiren Dr. Mustafa AYDIN, bunun gibi çalıştay, konferans ve etkinliklerin daha sık düzenlenmesinin tüm ülke için hayırlı olacağını, bir sonraki etkinliklerin dönüşümlü olarak farklı üniversitelerde yapılmasının ülkemizdeki uluslararasılaşma algısına daha çok renk katacağını vurguladı.

Istanbul Aydın University feels the honor of hosting EURAS –
Eurasian Universities Union’s event on ‘Internationalization’ under the event name of ‘EURIE Training for Turkish Universities’. IAU delightfully hosted more than 30 Institutions from various respectful universities of Turkey, joining the event from both within and outside Istanbul province. Post-workshop, a general review was made and a special dinner was organized with the attendance of President of Istanbul Aydin University and EURAS – Dr. Mustafa Aydın. On the occasion of the workshop, Dr. Aydin submitted to his thanks to each participant.
EURIE Training, which happened with various interactive sessions and conversations underlining important aspects and points of internationalization along with the vital portions of how and why your institution should focus on being more open to internationalization, was successfully made in 3 sittings with the high efforts of speakers: EURAS General Coordinator Pınar Elbasan, Abdullah Gul University’s Internationalization Commission President Zeynep Tuğçe Çiftçibaşı Güç and EURODESK Facilitator Team Member Çağlar Yenilmez.
Dr. Mustafa Aydın welcomed all the participants and personally underlining the importance of internationalization both globally and nationally within Turkey. He clearly stated that “Internationalization is a method of growing the borders of countries thinner. It is the students and their will for higher education that will bring countries and people together for a firmer bond and brotherhood”. Dr. Mustafa Aydın also requested on continuing this event and perhaps hosting it in within the universities of the participators as the continuation of this event will bring more attention and importance to the nation.
