İstanbul Aydın Üniversitesi (İAÜ) Mütevelli Heyet Başkanı Doç. Dr. Mustafa Aydın; koronavirüsün yeni türlerinin artış göstermesinin ardından yeniden gündeme gelen “çevrim içi eğitim” modelini, CNN Türk TV’ye değerlendirdi.
COVID-19 virüsünün yeni türlerinin ortaya çıkmasının ve vaka sayılarının artışa geçmesinin ardından, eğitimin yeniden çevrim içi olarak gerçekleştirilmesi gündeme geldi. Öğrencilerin bir bölümü sağlık açısından korunabilmek amacıyla çevrim içi eğitimi desteklese de, yüz yüze eğitimi destekleyen öğrencilerin çoğunlukta olduğu görülüyor.
Doç. Dr. Mustafa Aydın; hiçbir eğitim modelinin yüz yüze eğitimin yerini tutmadığını belirterek, Türkiye’nin yeniden çevrim içi eğitime dönmesinin birçok tahribata yol açacağını söyledi. Öğrencilerin sınıf ortamından uzaklaşarak sadece evde eğitim görmelerinin hem akademik hem de sosyal açıdan çeşitli zorluklar oluşturacağını vurgulayan Aydın, “Virüsten korunmak için kolektif bilinçle hareket edilmeli; maske, mesafe ve temizlik kurallarına uyularak azami bir dikkat gösterilmelidir.” dedi.
“NO LEARNING METHODS CAN REPLACE FACE-TO-FACE EDUCATION”
The president of Istanbul Aydın University (IAU) Assoc. Prof. Mustafa Aydın evaluated the “online education” model, which has come to the fore again after the increase in new types of coronavirus at CNN Türk TV channel.
After the emergence of new types of the COVID-19 virus and the increase in the number of cases, it came to the fore to conduct education online again. Although some of the students support online education in order to stay healthy, the majority of students prefer face-to-face education.
Assoc. Prof. Mustafa Aydın noted that no learning methods can replace face-to-face education, he said that returning online education in Turkey would cause many destructions. Emphasizing that students’ leaving the classroom environment and only studying at home will create various difficulties both academically and socially, Aydın said, “To protect from the virus, we must act with a collective consciousness, we should pay maximum attention by obeying the rules for mask, distance and cleaning. ”
