Eğitim Ekonomisi İş Konseyi, ülke kalkınmasının temel çekirdeğini oluşturan eğitim sektörünün sadece iç dinamiklere bağlı kalmadan, dışa açılmasını sağlamayı hedefleyerek çalışmalarına başladı. Konseyin Başkanlığını yürüten Dr. Mustafa AYDIN, konseyin amacının ülkemizde Yüksek Öğretimi daha kapsamlı ve planlı bir şekilde ele almak ve dünya ile entegre olmasını sağlamak olduğunu dile getirdi.
İkinci Yürütme Kurulu hazırlık toplantısı 5 Aralık 2011 günü 17 Vakıf Üniversitesi Mütevelli Heyet Başkanları, Rektörleri, devlet üniversiteleri ile YÖK, MEB, Ekonomi Bakanlığı, TİKA ve birçok kamu paydaşlarının katılımlarıyla TOBB Plaza’da gerçekleşti. Türkiye’de sunulan eğitim hizmetlerinin yurt dışında tanıtımı konusundaki çalışmaların tartışıldığı toplantıda üniversitelerimizin uluslararalılaşmasında ve eğitimde kaliteyi artırarak dünya ile rekabet edilebilirlik düzeyi kazanması hususunda yol haritası çizildi.

Higher Education Business Council Meeting
DEIK Higher Education Business Council started its work on globalization of the education sector, which lies at the core of the country’s development, and to extend abroad without being restricted to inner dynamics. The Chairman of the Council, Dr. Mustafa Aydın, stated that the aim of the council is to integrate the higher education sector in Turkey with the rest of the world with analyzing its current situation in a planned and detailed way.
The Second Executive Board Meeting was held in 5th December 2011 at TOBB Plaza with the participation of the Board of Trustees Chairs of 17 Foundation Universities, Rectors, State Universities, YÖK, MEB, The Ministry of Economy, TIKA and other Executive Board members. The issue of presenting the educational services which Turkey offers to foreign countries was one of the topics of the meeting and the roadmap for globalizing the Turkish universities and raising the quality of education to compete with the other universities of the world was also discussed at the meeting.
