DEİK bünyesinde gerçekleşen değişim sonrasında yapılan ilk seçimli DEİK İş Konseyleri Genel Kurul Toplantıları, 22-23, 26-27-28 Ekim 2015 tarihlerinde İstanbul’da büyük bir katılımla gerçekleşti. 5 sektörel iş konseyleri ve bir özel amaçlı iş konseyi olmak üzere toplam 129 iş konseyinin yürütme kurulu başkanları ve üyeleri seçildi.
DEİK Yönetim Kurulu Başkanı Ömer Cihad Vardan, genel kurulda yaptığı konuşmada, geçtiğimiz yaklaşık bir yıl içinde yapılan tüm DEİK çalışmalarını kapsayıcılık, entegrasyon ve kurumsallaşma başlıkları altında gerçekleştirmeye çalıştıklarını söyledi. DEİK faaliyetlerinin nicelik ve nitelik bakımından gelişmesiyle birlikte, reel sektörde DEİK’e ilginin de arttığını belirten Vardan, “DEİK’in üye tabanı, görevi aldığımız günden bu yana yaklaşık bir yıl gibi kısa bir süre zarfında yüzde 51,2 oranında artmış bulunmaktadır” dedi. Ortak hedefin “Küresel ekonomiye güçlü entegrasyon” olduğunu belirten Vardan, “DEİK, mutat “networking” ve “iş geliştirme” faaliyetlerine ilaveten politika/strateji geliştirme süreçlerine katkı sağlamak amacıyla da projeler üretmeye başladı. Bu kapsamda enerji çalıştayı; uluslararası öğrenci temini çalıştayı düzenlenerek, bulgu ve sonuçları ilgili taraflar ile paylaşıldı” dedi.
78 Konseye Yeni Başkan
İki senede bir düzenlenen seçimli genel kurul toplantısında önce bölgesel iş konseyi başkanları belirlendi. Yapılan seçim neticesinde toplam 130 iş konseyinden 78’inde yeni başkan seçilmiş oldu. Hemen tüm konseylerin yürütme kurullarında da önemli yenilenmeler gerçekleşti. Daha sonra bölge koordinatör başkanları da seçilerek iş konseyleri genel kurulları tamamlandı.
Dr. Aydın 3.Kez Başkanlığa Seçildi
2 Dönem Boyunca Eğitim Ekonomisi İş Konseyi Başkanlığı yapan İstanbul Aydın Üniversitesi Mütevelli Heyet Başkanı Dr. Mustafa Aydın, 3. Dönem Başkanlığına oy birliğiyle yeniden seçildi.
A New Era at DEIK
Chairman of the Board of Directors and members of 129 business councils which consist of 5 sectorel business councils, and one special purpose business council were elected during the first elective DEIK Business Council General Meetings within the scope of Foreign Economic Relations Board (DEIK).
First elective DEIK Business Council General Meeting within the scope of DEIK taken place in Istanbul on October 22-23, 26-27-28, 2015. Members and Chairman of the Board of Directors of 129 business councils of which five sectoral business councils and one special purpose business council were elected.
Speaking at the general meeting, DEIK Board of Director Omer Cihad Vardan said that they work to put the works of DEIK for the last one year under the titles of comprehensiveness, integration and institutionalization. Pointing out the fact that as DEIK’s activities are increasing in terms of quantity and quality, it draws more attention from reel sectors, Vardan said, “DEIK’s membership base increased by 51.2% during the last year.” Stated that the mutual goal being “powerful integration to global economy” Vardan said, “DEIK started to initiate projects in order to contribute to policy/ strategy development process along with its customary ‘networking’ and ‘business development’ activities. In this regard, energy workshop and international students recruitment workshops were organized and the results were shared with the related parties.”
New Presidents for 78 Councils
Held every other year, regional business council directors were elected during the elective general meetings. 78 out of 130 business councils selected their new presidents. Nearly all councils have went through major changes in their boards. Business councils general meetings ended after the elections of regional coordinators.
Dr. Aydin was elected for the third term
Dr. Mustafa Aydin, who had been the president of Education Economics Business Council for the last two terms, was unanimously re-elected.
