Avrasya Üniversiteleri Birliği (EURAS) & Avrasya Yükseköğretim Zirvesi (EURIE) Başkanı Doç. Dr. Mustafa Aydın’ın katılımlarıyla “Türkiye’de ve Dünyada COVID-19 Pandemisinin Sosyal, Ekonomik, İnsani Sonuçları” başlıklı bir webinar düzenlendi.
Doç. Dr. Mustafa Aydın; COVID-19’un ekonomik alanda istihdam, ücretler ve çalışma modelleri gibi birçok noktayı yakından etkilediğini vurgulayarak, “Özellikle çalışma modellerindeki değişim; hem yöneticileri hem de çalışanları, dijitalleşmeye ayak uyduracak aksiyonları almaya itti.” dedi.
Öte yandan nüfusun çoğunun zorunlu sosyal mesafe nedeniyle günlük yaşamın normal ritmindeki değişikliğe adapte olmaya çalıştığını belirten Aydın; herkesin iş, aile ve sosyal çevresiyle bir araya gelme konusunda fedakârlık gösterdiğini dile getirdi ve bunun aynı zamanda kolektif bir bilinç oluşturduğuna da dikkat çekti. Ayrıca bu kolektif bilinç sayesinde; bireylerin arkadaşları ve aileleriyle geçirdikleri zaman ile kültürel değerlerin ne kadar kıymetli olduğunu da bir kez daha anladıklarını sözlerine ekledi.
“COVID-19 CREATED A COLLECTIVE CONSCIOUSNESS”
A webinar titled “Social, Economic and Human Consequences of the COVID-19 Pandemic in Turkey and in the World” was held with the participation of the president of Eurasian Universities Union (EURAS) & Eurasian Higher Education Summit (EURIE) Assoc. Prof. Mustafa Aydın.
Assoc. Prof. Mustafa Aydin emphasized that COVID-19 closely affects many things such as employment, wages and working models in the economic field, “Especially the change in working models; It pushed both managers and employees to take actions to keep up with digitalization.” said.
On the other hand, Aydın stated that most of the population is trying to adapt to the change in the normal rhythm of daily life due to compulsory social distance; He stated that everyone makes sacrifices to come together with their work, family and social circles, and also drew attention to the fact that this creates a collective consciousness. In addition, he added that they once again understood how precious cultural values are with the time individuals spend with their friends and families thanks to this collective consciousness.
