Konuşmasına, “”Rüzgar eken, fırtına biçer”” sözleriyle başlayan Küçükçekmece Belediye Başkanı Temel Karadeniz, “”Rüzgar ektik fakat, fırtına biçmek zorumuza gidiyor”” dedi. Uyuşturucu madde kullanıma giden yolun sigara kullanımından başladığına değinen Karadeniz, “”13-14 yaşındaki çocuğu, sadece zararlı olduğunu söyleyerek, uzaklaştırmak mümkün değil. En başta aileler, öğretmenler ve toplum olarak biz büyükler, onlara olumlu yönde örnek olmalıyız. Belediye olarak, bu konuda üzerimize düşen her ne varsa yapmaya hazırız. Zevk toplumu olmaktan kurtulmalıyız”” şeklinde konuştu.

Küçükçekmece Kent Konseyi Başkanı Dr.Mustafa Aydın ise, “”Hep birlikte sokağa sahip çıkacağız. Küçükçekmecemizi elbirliği ile temizleyeceğiz”” sözleriyle, uyuşturucuyla mücadele konusunda çalışmalara hız verileceğini söyledi.
“”En Etkili Çözüm, Hiç Başlamamak””
Yanlış arkadaş çevresiyle yayılma sağlayan ve bağımlılık yaratarak kronik bir beyin hastalığına yol açan uyuşturucu madde, gençleri yok etmeye devam ediyor. Küçükçekmece’de de bu durumun yaygınlaşmasıyla birlikte, çalışmalara hız verildi. Çoğu zaman ailelerin durumu fark edemiyor olmasıyla tedavi süreci zora girerken, kimi zaman da çok geç kalınmış olduğu belirtildi. Kent Konseyi’ne katılarak bilgi veren Narkotik Şube Polisi Erhan Yalçınkaya, “”Tedavisi mümkün fakat, kişi istemezse imkansız olan bu hastalık sadece polisiye tedbirle çözüm bulmuyor. En etkili çözüm, hiç başlamamak”” dedi.

Program sonrası Kaymakam Vekili Harun Kaya ile görüşen Ayık Yaşamda Buluşalım Dernek Başkanı Yavuz Tufan Koçak, ortak çalışma konusunda söz aldı. Eski bir madde bağımlısı olan Koçak, kendi kurduğu dernekte uyuşturucu bağımlısı gençleri rehabilite ederek, sosyalleştirme çalışmaları yaptıklarını belirtti.
The fact that drug use has grown and spread from day to day and the age of use has dropped to 14 led to the meeting of Kucukcekmece City Council on the topic of narcotics.
The meeting was held in the Kucukcekmece wedding palace. The meeting’s topic was the serious growing rate of drug use in the district. War was declared on drugs by the President of the City Council, Dr. Mustafa Aydin. Important steps were taken against drug use in the meeting and its attendees; Governor Harun Kaya, Mayor Temel Karadeniz, Vice-Mayor Sibel Gullucayir, District National Education President Cemal Yilmaz, District Police Chief Deputy, AK Party Women’s Branch President Filiz Aksut Aktas, CHP Women’s Branch President Gunay Oz, Narcotics Branch experts and civil society organizations.

Governor Harun Kaya stated that they met with the governorship to help stop the use of drugs and that they will be employing vehicles to combat selling of drugs. Kaya also said that this would be a great chance for those who would like to get rid of their bad habits such as smoking. Kaya: “”A lot of educational works will be made on the field. We will be closely observing the subject. Our homework is Kucukcekmece.””

“”Whoever plants wind will get a storm”” was the first words mayor Temel Karadeniz spoke in his speech. “”We planted wind but we resent to see a storm.”” Karadeniz blamed cigarettes use as the first step to drug use. Karadeniz: “”It isn’t possible to keep a 13-14 year old child away from use just by saying it is bad. Families, teachers, and as a society, us, the elders, have to be an example to them. As a municipality we are ready to do whatever it takes to solve this problem. We have to stop being a pleasure society.””

Kucukcekmece City Council President Dr. Mustafa Aydin said, “”We will take care of the streets together. We will clean our Kucukcekmece together.”” With these words Dr. Aydin said that the war against drugs will gain speed with every second.

The meeting of Governor Harun Kaya and “”Ayik Yasamda Bulusalim”” association president Tufan Kocak, ended with a partnership on the war on drugs after the program. An ex-addict, Kocak, rehabilitates young addicts and helps them socialize back into society with the association he started himself.
